An ever-growing international expansion

In March 2010, more than 90 cities in 14 different countries have already opted for Calypso: Paris, Montreal, Mexico, Lisbon, Porto, Milan, Torino, Tel Aviv, Capri, Venice, Brussels, Algiers, Rabat, Riga and others. The largest intermodal networks have integrated all or part of Calypso into their transit system.

With more than 60 million contactless cards, 60 million contactless tickets and 150,000 terminals in operation, distributors of 11 different nationalities, and many licensed suppliers, Calypso is the world's largest open platform for ticketing.

Because of the high security anf functionality of the Calypso application, multiple innovations are possible to ease the ticketing usage: reloading on ATM or with Internet, use of contactless mobile phones, integration to Java Cards, dynamic contract loading during validation, etc.
