Masked Components
The first generation of Calypso components, the CD97 and CD Light, is no longer available.
New generations of Calypso products, faster, more secure, and offering compatibility modes with the previous generations, are now deployed, including the CD21 from STMicroelectronics, the Tango For Calypso from ASK and the the CDS2 accessible under license from Innovatron.
These products are manufactured under a Calypso license, therefore you may acquire and market them without the need for a license youself. Note that the CD21 and CDS3 are accessible to card embedders for manufacturing Calypso cards.
